Lichess needs a league

Just like there are tournaments, there could be a league,
for example when u play World of Warcraft you choose between horde or alliance, It would be fun to play inside a team but not like the current teams which are pretty dead since they have no activity, thats because there is no league
for example u could register ur account and pick a team (or it could be done automatically)
or go for free etc and then win some points for you team
just like a normal league, although I dont know how many teams, what is better to make two teams like world of warcraft or 20 teams like soccer
the idea is to make it more competitive
So in summary, yeah chess is an individual game but it needs some type of classification with teams where each team has a number of players, but the teams should be balanced in number and skill with the elo
as it is the teams are in an invisible status without competion and dynamics and if u lose ur team should lose points as well
because as it is there are no teams, I mean like a normal league where u belong to a team and play against other teams so if u create an account , u can create a normal account just like we have it where u play individual games,
or u could create a team account and u always play inside
your team against the rest of the teams except ur team of course, just like soccer or volleyball or anyother sport whatsoever

Not only league, also needs Ladder system.

The rating system is far better than any 'ladder' system I've ever seen implemented.

I like this idea although it is a bit toddlerish.

You should add lichess4545.com into lichess. A separate site doesn't make sense.

It's self-organized by the Lichess community, and integrating it into lichess.org would require all kinds of approvals by Thibault and the mods, which they don't have time to do.

The website serves as a place where you can view all stats, Teams, schedules, results, etc. Obviously all the games are played here on lichess.org. It's a shame you seem so averse to opening an extra tab on your web browser, because it's nearly exactly what you're asking for.
