Make sure your browser is not zoomed in. Many browsers will reset the zoom to 100% (i.e., normal) if you press Ctrl-0 (that's a zero, BTW).
i have just developed the same problem and and its not the browser zoom.
any suggestions
Zoom out to 80% and the chat reappears. I like it at that.
