Why is my pause so long

Recently i played a classical tournament but once i paused to analyze my games i couldnt rejoin i know when u pause alot in a tournament your pause gets longer but i only paused one time before that i thought that i was tournament banned but no i joined a crazyhouse tournament but when i paused i couldnt rejoin

There is a delay to prevent you from spamming the pause button.

Yes i know but i didnt spam the pause button i just paused to analyze my games when i came back my join button was gray
