Zen mode is found in the preference section.
lichess.org/account/preferences/game-displaySo what is it for?
Less ui elements when playing a game. Also available in username menu while playing.
during a game, click on your profile name above, below 'piece set' setting, to activate 'Zen Mode'.. simple said, this mode remove all the distraction, and just display board and clock..
it remove left sidebar (chat, name, rating) , right sidebar (move list, opponent rating (only) and bottom game counter
really awesome!
Okay, I enabled it.
Simplicity is always an appealing thing for me.
The web name is on the left of the chess board and could be relocated.
Options:
1. Centered on the top of the screen, beside our name.
2. Placed vertically beside the clock.
3. Centered between the clocks.
The web page could be full screen by pressing the function key F11, and the chess board zoomed to a new size by pressing the Ctrl key and rolling the wheel mouse.
Maybe a default could be automated when going into Zen mode. Locked in Full-screen mode during a game will probably not be liked by the bot users.
