Chess isn't nearly as racist as mathematics or milk.
You have to realize that when Chess was first played those were probably the ways of life. Just because we're sticking to a little bit of tradition doesn't mean it is promoting racism or feudalism.
What happened in America that led to people not playing it anymore? Is it only in countries too poor to buy a Playstation that makes chess so popular?

@pool_floaties. Plenty of people from America play chess. I play chess. While it's true that other countries may play chess more, wealth has little to do with it, I would get. It's more culture. In the Philippines, chess is engraved into the culture so close to every child learns how to play the game when they are young. Also, that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.
