Yes the Dutch is hella solid. Many people use it, and the stonewall is my main setup against d4.
Good to find someone who uses it @PatzerGareBear13 . Do you use it in blitz or rapid, or both?
Deciding whether to keep playing the Dutch against the better players has been the hardest decision.
I often play 1...e6 so that I can play the Nimzo-Indian should my opponent play 2.c4 and I can play the stone wall Dutch if he does not play 2.c4. Also, this can transpose into a French Defense with 2.e4
Here's one of my best games (ever) that I played in the Dutch/Horowitz.

My main setup against d4 is leningrad dutch, but I am the kind of maniac who plays king gambit too.
I believe Anand plays the Dutch. It's supposed to be edgy. I play it, mainly because it's assymetric (my preference) but I have rather limited success with it.
@DavyKOTWF I play the Dutch in rapid and blitz. I even use it in OTB USCF tournament play!
@sirkmatija I also love the Kings Gambit, I play it everywhere. You're not the only maniac in the house!

The Dutch is solid, and sound, but I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner as if not played properly it leaves you strategically worse long run.
True. A thing I noticed new players do often is move too many pawns, which creates holes. They need to focus on developing before attacking.
