How to prevent players from continuously abandoning bullet games.

If your opponent leaves a bullet match sub 10 seconds, you can keep adding time to their clock, so that the leave penalty/warning will actually apply.
If they leave with less than 10 seconds to go why bother ?

I agree it's bad form and it's childish to leave rather than accepting a loss with grace but hardly worth wasting even more time just to get them the caution.

At least for the first time , if the same player makes a habit of it then that might be worth wasting the extra 10 seconds of ones time to make the point.

You don't. If you are such a sensitive snowflake, that you can't wait 5 seconds for the next game, you fucking shouldn't play chess.
Well, I suppose you could try to lose every game you play, so that your Opponent would be interested in playing a whole minute. But since it is against the ToS to intentionally lose, there's nothing really to influence this. But: Maybe playing in tournaments is the way to go, because you would probably be happier waiting for a game to be finished rather than playing it out: Thus, it ironically saves time and you will be on your way to play another game in the tourney - though, it is very likely that your Opponent would play it out in a tournament setting. Afterall it's bullet.
If my mouse goes watership down, cannot handle my computer.
Nice weather outside the window :-)
When I played 30 min. games, I devastated my flat for an AA-Cell to reanimate mouse pad.
In a minute game, it makes no sense.
