How many aborts is too many? At what point will you get temp banned? I really want to stay below the temp ban number so any advice would be helpful.

Why would you abort?
Some abort because they want a certain opening. Some abort because they see the player has a provisional rating and thus one cannot determine how good/bad their opponent is. Some want another color. Lots of reasons. Whether they are good reasons is another thing entirely.

For knowing that you need to do that much aborts!
On a serious note, you shouldn't abort often. Aborting rarely is no problem with temporary ban of user. It's just that user gets notified of messages in chat by Lichess when they abort.

yea i understand, but lets say if I had an account for over 5 years, I would have less aborts than one account made last year. I rarely ever abort, but it happens sometimes and things come up, but I just wanted to be safe and not get banned.

Too many aborts you will do you will band for 6 or 7 hrs or 3 days!
