I have days where my brain seems to be stuck on stupid and autopilot at the same time where I'm blind to even the most obvious attacks and/or opportunities and other days, which are very few and far between might I add, where I see everything on the board everywhere so very clearly, easily, and effortlessly. These are the days when I play rated games. Most other days which are comprised of the former description are when I play unrated games only as to prevent the unavoidable plummet of rating points followed by the absolute sheer rage that always accompanies it. Love to understand this phenomenon, for lack of a better word, but I don't think cats have anything to do with it since I'm homeless, live in a tent, and have no cat.
