17th Dubai Chess Open 2015 round 01

A FIDE Master beat a GM !
Saeed Ishaq (UAE) vs Safarli Eltaj (azerbaijan)

White to move and show what the GM did miss !
http://en.lichess.org/MrscZ0IE#36
(you may think ,as when solving a puzzle, that it's easy to see the move, but the continuation after is really hard, on the evidence that this GM didn't see it, although am sure he did see the move ! apparently he underestimated it and went for the b pawn like a patzer ! )

N.B., the Stockfish in this site is really something, not like the stupid one on chessbomb or chessdom or even mine ! when I saw the game there and then uploaded it to my computer, the engine didn't evaluate many moves correctly untill the continuation appeared
US Chess Championship 2015-round 6

Virkud Apurva vs Goletiani Rusudan :
who said that when your opponent have the pair of bishops ,you should try and close the position? well, he might change his mind after this game !
http://en.lichess.org/FBMnYOn7

Sharevich Anna vs Krush Irina :
what is the definition of smartass ? well , we all make blunders, we all make mistakes, we all lose a grip in winning positions and blow them and even somtimes lose after it, this is normal and doesn't make us stupid or anything else .
In a drawish yet somewhat complicated position ,after Anna played the terrible 42.Rxg6 (in time trouble), Kruch in a smartassish mode having more than 30 minutes in the clock INSTANTLY returned the favour, before finding out that she have been crushed by no one but her ego..

US Chess Championship 2015-round 9

Wesley So vs Akobian Varuzha :

Black to move and win ! here Akobian did a move that reminds me with my 4 years old niece and won the game ! can u guess what he did ?
http://en.lichess.org/MArgbYiK/black#11
@izzat Wesley lost because he was forfeited by an arbiter because he was taking notes in the game, not because he resigned.
