What are some hobbies you have, but your friends aren't interested in?

Most of my friends don't play chess or if they do, they don't play it every day like I do so they don't play with me because they can't win. For over-the-board competition, I play at chess clubs with very nice people I have gotten to know, but they aren't my close friends yet... just chess buddies.

The majority of my friends don't dance, but I dance in classes 5 times a week. Same thing... I know the people in the group, but we have not become friends outside the class.

Most of my friends don't create art in their spare time, but I draw something or create something with my hands nearly every day. This I just do this on my own.

Goodness me, what do I do with my close friends? hahaha... We end up talking about life and going for walks, but our hobbies are very different. Several of my friends enjoy concerts, theaters or ballet, but I don't have the patience to sit still and watch something for hours unless I can be multitasking which would be rude at a live show. So, they have learned not to invite me. ;-)

What about you? Do you have hobbies that you actually do together with your closest friends?
Unfortunately no one wanted a lecture about what we should say when our God sneezes. Because I know for sure that it isn't "God Bless You!". Oh well, so much for hobbies.
i dont have "hobbies". i have passions. most friends dont join me for climate striking and most of them dont share my passion for figure skating. but so what? passions make happy. friends make happy. and we make new friends while we follow our passions. its better to follow passions and make friends that share those passions along the way, than to call it a hobby to hang out with friends and follow their hobbies.
I always liked science. Anthropology, quantum physics, astronomy, geology, mathemathetics, anything ,i mean i just like science not that i'm a scientist or a genius or anything i just like learning. I've always been that way.
I have no friends, I got rid of them all years ago. So answering is like dividing with zero lol.
@Letpchess, it’s the same with me – none of my friends cares to play chess, except for one who expressed an interest in learning one day. Most of my friends aren’t fond of exercising or playing sports either. But that’s okay, many of my friends share a common faith with me, and also we like books and music and have a similar sense of humor. Some also have an interest in preparing healthy meals.

None of my friends is interested in learning about web development, though. Not to worry, in a year or two I’ll be cornering the market as a female middle-aged web developer :P
